As I was designing this ring, these lines from a poem I wrote years ago kept coming to mind. I fell in love with the juxtaposition of bright white with blue and gray stones. The Day & Night Ring seemed like a fitting name to capture this contrast.
The stones are blue sapphire and silver-gray diamonds, with a small blue sapphire and small round diamond in the band on either side of the setting. They are set in non-rhodium plated white gold, which gives the band a champagne color - slightly warmer than white gold. Engraved on the inside of the band is the phrase, “Soon Light Returns." This phrase can be worn as a constant reminder that even if life's darkest, most painful moments, there is always hope.
