My incredible pilates instructor, Leigh Prewitt Harkrider, purchased the large half daisy earrings as an ode to her grandmother. One of Leigh’s most cherished childhood memories is planting daisies with her grandmother. When she was a little girl, her grandmother gave her a children's book as a "happy" - a gift you give "just because." The book features a little girl picking flowers and the joy she brings to others.
To this day, all the plants in Leigh's yard hold a special meaning: Amaryllis for her mother-in-law, some hibiscus for her aunt and uncle, a Tyler rose bush for her grandfather, and of course, daisies for her grandmother.
